Former Sooner (2002-2007), three-time Big 12 champion and four-time All-American Sam Hazewinkel was crowned champion at the 2009 Sunkist International Open, held last weekend in Phoenix, Ariz., competing at 55 kg in the Freestyle division.  Hazewinkel of Sunkist Kids defeated 2009 U.S. Nationals runner-up Obe Blank (Stillwater, Gator WC) in the finals, 0-1, 1-1, 1-0.
